Name: Jenny Graham.

Title: Creative Director at Velvet by Graham & Spencer. (She’s the Graham!)

What’s the most cherished item in your wardrobe?

A Margaret Howell black peacoat from a few years ago, love the simplicity of the silhouette. It’s never gone out of style and I’m pretty sure it never will.

How do you spend your time away from Velvet by Graham & Spencer?

I love to travel with my family.

A trusted and weathered tangerine Celine tote.

Bunches and bunches of peonies.

Anything by Joan Didion

What’s your favorite piece from the Graham & Spencer Summer Collection?

The Flutter Sleeve Blouson Top, in white of course.

What’s your favorite piece from the Velvet by Graham & Spencer Summer collection?

The Moanna dress: a sublime maxi-dress with great movement. It’s packed for my summer vacation.

I love the smell of fresh cut flowers at the Flower Market in downtown LA at 6am. That’s the best time to go!

Favorite place to shop?

I want to live in the store, Merci, in Paris. I also love Lost & Found in Hollywood.

Clementine or Huckleberry - great for a weekend brunch with friends.

What was the last exhibition you saw?

Schiaparelli and Prada: Impossible Conversations at the Met in NYC.

Favorite piece of art/artist?

My pottery collection made by my daughter, Anna, while she was in preschool.

Name some-one you wished you’d met.

Isabella Rossellini. She is beautiful and intellegent - one of my favorite style icons.

What defines your personal style?

Relaxed, understated, classic.

If you could raid anyone’s closet who would it be and why?

Loulou de la Falaise: all that vintage Halston, YSL & Ossie Clark! Second would be my design partner and co-Creative Director, Toni Spencer - I love her style.
